Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. An attractive, clever and talented actress, she is an example to Asian actors who are aspiring to make it big in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on several popular television shows. In those shows, she played the villainous Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. Then she gave a stunning performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii as QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. Around this same time she appeared in box office failures, including Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced characters with prominent voices. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia as well as other smaller-screen parts, did not achieve any kind of success. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish the status of an established actor. Liu is extremely cautious when picking her roles to ensure that she does not become cast in a very intensely competitive field. Though she's very proud of her ethnicity however, she is not letting the fact that she is from China limit her creative abilities.
