Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best known for House, a Fox medical drama series. In a strict Jewish upbringing the actress relocated from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. But very soon, she became involved in the city's club scene, making enough splashes that she was seen by the media and concurrently, becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. Eventually she used her training along with her fame and training to compose and write an original musical entitled Positive Me and was also in the film. Soon after she was recruited by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. Once the program was over, she went on to do film as well as TV productions. The first time she worked, she was able to get small parts and established herself gradually as an actor.
